Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 delivers a whole new way for partners and customers to perform new company configuration. Rapid Start Services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV allows partners to build various configuration packages, get an overview of the setup process, and to perform it in more controlled, predictable and repeatable fashion. It also focuses on customers wishing to set up their Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 company in a few simple steps, using the out-of-the-box configurations provided by Microsoft, and configurations provided by Microsoft partners. Configuration data will be applied respecting and validating internal relations between tables. Customers can be up and running fast with little disruption to their business.
This session starts in its vision and usage scenarios, then it will swith to NAV and start showing what the customers can do with it and what the partners can do with it.
Query object is an important addition to the NAV platform in the 2013 release. It enables easy data access leveraging the power of SQL server, while respecting NAV construct such as flow fields and security. It can be used in many scenarios: performance improvements, code simplification, joining data across table, exposing data for integration, charting, C/AL development, etc. As such it is a fundamental part of the NAV platform.
In this session, we will cover how query works, how you can use it and most importantly, which customer scenarios it enables you to create or improve.
During this session we will discuss the scenario’s and business value of this new functionality in Dynamics NAV 2013. We will demonstrate different scenario’s to show how to set up and use Assembly Management in a business process. At the end of this session you will be able to discuss the value with business stakeholders and set up and demonstrate it to your customers.
